What are RTA kitchen cabinets?
RTA stands for ready to assemble. The cabinets ship flat packed with the hardware included, and you or your installer put each box together before installing it. Flat packing keeps shipping costs lower, and RTA is the most affordable way to buy our cabinets.
What is the difference between RTA and pre-assembled cabinets?
RTA cabinets arrive flat packed and are assembled on site. Pre-assembled cabinets arrive already built, so you just hang and secure them. You choose one or the other when you start your quote. Pre-assembled adds a $35 assembly fee per cabinet.
Are your cabinets solid wood?
Every JSI cabinet we sell has all-wood construction, not particle board. That includes plywood sides, solid wood face frames, dovetail drawers, soft-close hinges and undermount drawer glides as standard.
Are you an authorized JSI Cabinetry dealer?
Yes. JSI Pittsburgh is an authorized JSI Cabinetry dealer based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. We sell online and ship direct.
Which states do you ship kitchen cabinets to?
We ship direct to Pennsylvania, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, New York, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Kentucky, and Ohio (PA, OH, KY, NY, NJ, MD, DE, CT, RI, MA, VT, NH and ME). Online checkout is only available for addresses in those 13 states. If your project is somewhere else, contact us by email.
How long does delivery take?
Orders typically arrive in about 5 to 7 business days. Shipping is calculated at checkout from your ZIP code and the size of your order.
How do I build a kitchen cabinet quote?
Pick a door style, choose RTA or pre-assembled, then add cabinets by SKU code or description, such as B36 for a 36 inch base cabinet. Enter your delivery ZIP code to see shipping, and check out when you are ready. You can also create a free account to save quotes and come back to them later.
Do I need an account to order?
No. Guest checkout always works. An account is optional and lets you save quotes and see your orders in one place.
How do I pay?
Payment is handled through secure Stripe checkout. You are sent to Stripe to pay, then returned to our site with your order confirmation.
Do you sell touch-up kits?
Yes. A Touch-Up Kit and a Touch-Up Spray Can are listed in the catalog under accessories. Add one to any quote in the door style you are ordering.
Is there extra shipping for 8 ft moldings and panels?
8 ft items ship at no extra charge with any cabinet order. When ordered alone, a $300 oversize freight minimum applies.
Can contractors and landlords order cabinets?
Yes. Contractors, landlords, property managers and flippers order the same way as homeowners and can ship each order to the job site or rental property. If you are outfitting several units with the same layout, create an account and save the quote so you can reorder it.
Do you sell bathroom vanities?
Yes. Vanity cabinets, including vanity sink bases and vanity drawer bases, are in the catalog and can be added to a quote in the same door style as your kitchen.
